Come and visit the nature reserve “Las Salinas” with its landscape of ponds, dikes, dunes and pine trees, this will give you the opportunity to enjoy one of the most interesting ecosystems at the Mediterranean coast, with its flamingos, herons, etc.

Every year at the end of summer, on their way to northern Africa, flocks of pink flamingos make their stopover on the San Pedro del Pinatar salt lakes, the most significant wetlands in the Murcia region, and declared region of international interest. Dabchicks, gallinetas, sea gulls, albatrosses, herons, owls, fartet, little endemic fish of the Levante coast, found their home in this area after loosing their natural habitat.
